Warranty Administration

2-10 HBW Warranty Administration   -   (“2-10 HBW WA”) is a full service home-warranty administration call center located in Denver, Colorado, that is open Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm MST, and can be reached by phone at (720) 747-6000.  The department is staffed with Specialists in Warranty Administration, Arbitration and Builder Services.  This group provides customer service for builders and homeowners in possession of a 2-10 HBW Warranty by processing informational phone calls, administering requests for warranty service and arbitration, and facilitating resolution of warranty disputes.

Builder’s Guide to Warranty Administration  -   (“Guide”) is an informal informational pamphlet available for 2-10 HBW builder members.  The Guide is designed to cover important warranty topics that every builder should be aware of, such as:

  • Express and Implied Warranties
  • Customer Service Basics
  • Builder and Homeowner Responsibilities under the 2-10 HBW Warranty Program
  • Using Recognized Construction Standards
  • Understanding Arbitration

The Guide is also available to 2-10 HBW Builders as an on-site workshop seminar, which is conducted by 2-10 HBW WA Builder Services Specialists (“BSS”).  Builders may contact their assigned 2-10 HBW Risk Management Specialist for more information on this and other services provided by the 2-10 HBW WA.

Arbitration is the method specified in the 2-10 HBW Warranty for conflict resolution.  This process may be initiated if the builder and homeowner cannot resolve a disagreement to the satisfaction of both parties. Arbitration is designed to be a prompt, effective and economical method of dispute resolution that utilizes a neutral third-party professional, called an arbitrator.  Upon request, an impartial arbitrator will hear the dispute and render a decision, to which the homeowner and builder agree to abide.  Either party may request arbitration information (such as the 2-10 HBW bulletin entitled Basic Arbitration Guidelines), or start the process by contacting 2-10 HBW Warranty Administration.

Arbitration information also is available by visiting the websites of the following independent (not affiliated with 2-10 HBW) arbitration service providers:
